“Circular Design, the key to a sustainable future”

Circular&Co are leading the way with Circular design.  Their innovative products use waste material to make new products that are fully recyclable.  By reusing the same materials over and over, they reduce CO2 emissions and are helping move us towards a sustainable future. 

Juggling a busy online store with new product designs and leading the way on circular design, means the small (but perfectly formed!) team have benefited from streamlining their software systems.  

Their products are sold on a number of online platforms so it was essential to have a system that was fully integrated.  Juggling their stock management on numerous websites and ensuring they were able to fulfil orders quickly and easily was essential. Filtering all this information through to their backend systems and account management has helped reduce repetitive tasks and allow them to focus more time on growing their business and sharing their mission with the world.

To manage all the processes efficiently we implemented a bespoke Software as a Service integration to link up and control the sales, warehouse management, order, delivery and fulfilment channels as first/third party integrations were either unavailable or limited in their required functionality.

Additional customisations and streamlining has been added to the SAAS over the course of time as the business required.  A key area was the optimisation/automation of tasks throughout the platforms freeing up staff resources from routine manual work.

 Automatic update of order fulfilment warehouse, delivery method and required date from product SKUs and details within the original sales order.

• Delivery tracking information and customer contact details automatically added and linked from the website and sales platforms to the Inventory management and Delivery fulfilment channels.
• Automatic syncing/updating and completion of orders throughout the various channels.
• Database to keep track of order status and additional information.
• Scheduling to automatically perform the various tasks at particular times of the day.

eBay Integration

The latest integration built for Circular takes all the manual work out of the process.  Using the existing SAAS system, we built the ebay integration to do the following:

1. Ordered Placed: On receipt of an eBay order, the custom integration pulls the order across to the warehouse management system setting the status of 'ready to ship'
2. Ready to Ship: The order details are pushed through to the logistics company, including the email address and name which is used for delivery tracking
3. Goods Delivered: The product is delivered by the courier and via the integration feeds back to the warehouse management system as 'Shipped'
4. Platform Confirmation: The shipped confirmation is now pushed back into eBay with the tracking number and courier code. 
5. Fulfilled in eBay: After the order is confirmed as delivered by the courier company, the order is fulfilled in eBay and funds are released for transfer
6. Data Integrity: Order details are retained during the whole process within the custom integration to avoid duplication
